In January 2006, a group of believers who were unwilling to compromise the truth of God’s word founded Faith Lutheran Church. In May 2012, the church was led to change the name to Faith Community Church. The new name reflected the fact that a number of us do not have a Lutheran background. It also reflects our desire to be part of the community we are in and help to meet the needs of the people who live there.

Our church does have a Lutheran heritage and we embrace the best of that heritage: We are saved by grace through our faith in Jesus Christ. We are saved by God’s grace, not our own efforts.

Our primary goal is to be a Christian church that helps to advance God’s kingdom and share His love and mercy with those who don’t know Him.

We believe that God has given each one of us gifts that are to be used to bless others. We want everyone to discover, develop, and use their gifts.
